Windows 10 Updates - you always have to update
Windows 10 doesn't care if you need to shutdown your notebook and run to your car to get to wherever it is your going. You need to install those updates first.
So your only options are to put your notebook in sleep mode or just turn it off completely and let your IT guy worry about fixing it.
So that's what is going to happen. Most people don't have the patients to let the system install all those updates.
So all the good you think you are doing MS - you are really just pissing off everyone.
I have personally disable the Windows Update service on my own equipment. But this is not a good solution for any client. You need those security updates to get installed.
PS. Most users don't like the Mainly white / flat interface of Office 2013/2016. Just have 2010 theme - that would really help.
