Visual Studio 2015 - Corrupt Android Emulator Display
If your default Visual Studio Android Emulator output screen looks corrupt, flickers, snow, or quad display of images it means the default settings are not working for your setup. You need to change your emulations options. In Android Virtual Device (AVD) Manager edit your listed devices so you get the following screens.
Try changing the emulation options. Toggle "Snapshot" or "Use Host GPU". One of them will get rid of of the corrupt display in your Android emulator.
