Google Apps Sync not installing

This program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing .

Download the Visual C++ Redistributable:

Windows 64-bit http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/3/F/93FCF1E7-E6A4-478B-96E7-D4B285925B00/vc_redist.x64.exe

Windows 32-bit http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/3/F/93FCF1E7-E6A4-478B-96E7-D4B285925B00/vc_redist.x86.exe

Uni-install what ever portions of Google Apps sync did install and re-install again after above installation.
